Yesterday was a big game between the Bills and the Bengals. The Bills were looking to get one step closer to the one seed in the AFC and the Bengals were looking to win the AFC North. It was supposed to be a match up between two of the best young Quaterback's in the league Josh Allen and Joe Burrow. I was excited for this match up the entire day I told some buddies this game reminded me of an old school heavyweight fight. First quater Joe and the Bengals went down the field and scored, then Josh and the Bills came back responding with a field goal. Then disaster struck Tee Higgins makes a routine catch and then runs with conviction until he is met by 24 year old 2nd year safety Demar Hamlin. The impact of the collision shook the world and ended the game. Mr. Hamlin went into cardiac arrest and was resuscitated after being unconscious for nearly 9 minutes. In my 20 years of watching sports I have never witnessed what I and the world did last night. It was scary and watching the Bills and Bengals players cry and be distraught watching their brother fight for his life on live television was a tough scene. I will continue to pray for Mr. Hamlin and hope he pulls through. All of Demar teammates have had glowing words to say about him. During Mike Tomlin's press conference today he spoke about Demar and stated "Being a Pittsburgher I've known that guy probably since he was 12. Just got a lot of respect and love for him as a human being" Please continue to pray for Demar Hamlin.
