LAKERS GET BACK ON TRACK!

The Lakers took down the Bulls last night winning 121-110. The Lakers looked more engaged last night then when they played on Sunday. They were more locked in defensively not giving up easy baskets and staying connected. LeBron was more involved this game as he continues to knock the rust off after missing time with a foot injury. The role players for the Lakers stepped up Austin Reaves continues to dazzle with another 19 points. DLO came back and had 17 points shooting 7-12 from the floor. Since the All star break the new look Lakers have been competing on defense and playing FAST. Even nights when LeBron does not play the Lakers have still been a dangerous team.

Despite doctors saying the 38-year-old LeBron James needs surgery for his foot he opted to do things his way and roll the dice. LeBron came back and is the same old year 20 LeBron scoring in a various different way efficiently while getting his teammates involved. He scored 25 points 7 rebounds and dished out 4 assists. LeBron is gearing himself up for a playoff run. A healthy LeBron is a scary matchup for anyone especially in the first round!

Anthony Davis was a MONSTER last night! He DOMINATED the game on both sides of the floor. On offense he attacked the defense and did not settle for long jumpers he took what the defense gave him. We say this often "this is the AD the Lakers need if they are going to compete for a championship". The Lakers need this to be the AD who shows up consistently not just for a couple weeks but from now until June if they are fortunate enough to make it that far it will be because of the DOMINANCE of AD. Let's see if he has what it takes to take the Lakers far in the playoffs.
